This week's sites are on the topic of keeping in touch with friends and family abroad... the web is great for doing this sort of thing. You can create closed groups, chat online, and keep in touch with people all over the world.

www.friendsreunited.co.uk
Find long-lost friends and schoolmates.

groups.yahoo.com
Set up a private group to share news & email with your friends and family

www.myfamily.com

This site is pretty cool... it allows you to set up a website to keep track of all your family worldwide over the internet, including a calendar of birthdays and shared photo albums.

The TV3 sites for tomorrow are along the theme of band and concert ticket websites...

http://launch.yahoo.com/
The best place to keep track of your favourite bands, including tour information, free clip downloads, and album releases.

http://www.ticketmaster.ie/
The best source for ticket for Irish concerts.

http://www.ebay.com/ie
Buy tickets at auction for concerts (including sold-out ones)

Any ideas for next week?

Since I can't get DSL in my apartment (in the centre of Dublin.... don't ask!) I decided to try the Irish Broadband Navini Ripwave product. I can actually see the RTE tower (where the modem connects to) from my window, but I still have all sorts of problems getting the wireless modem to sync up. Anyone else tried this service?

Sorry I haven't updated the page in a while... I'll try and go back and post the TV3 sites for the past few weeks!!!
